The Uncle Robert’s Awa Bar and Farmers Market is a one-of-a kind market on the Big Island.  

This market features a variety of vendors selling fresh produce and comfort foods. There are so many choices of delicious foods that you can choose from such as Filipino, Japanese, Korean, Indian, Chinese, Thai, Mediterranean, Mexican, Italian and Hawaiian.

Apart from these fruits and vegetables, there are also artisans selling their crafts at reasonable prices.

The most exciting part as you enter the market, is the live music entertainment at the Uncle Robert’s Awa Bar.

Hawaiian songs are being played by local bands and people get up and dance to the music, which makes the market lively.

You can also bring your own drinks and food at the bar, and take a seat at the picnic tables and chairs in front of the music stage.

If you just want to relax and have a picnic near the market, go check out the Kaimu black sand beach and enjoy watching the sunset, take photos of the lava rock formations or feel the breeze of the ocean.
